Born and raised in Nova Scotia, Anita spent most of her childhood living along the beautiful Eastern Shore. She was blessed growing up with a musical family and began singing, writing songs and playing guitar at the age of 9.

After Business College she worked 11.5 years for Maritime Tel & Tel, now Bell-Aliant and spent 7 of those years working in their Marketing Department.  Anita decided it was time for a change and made the jump from part time to full time with her musical career, which led her to recording her first album between Nashville and Toronto in 1998.  For many years she and her husband travelled extensively, performing and entertaining both locally and on the international stage.

It was shortly after purchasing their second home that Anita began to realize how exciting and fulfilling finding the right property could be.  After careful consideration, she decided to settle in Nova Scotia and has been helping others find their dream homes and special “getaways” ever since.  This career choice has proven very successful for Anita. As Associate Broker/Co-Owner at Coastal Winds Realty she continues to bring her passion and professionalism to her work and still loves helping people find the right property and making their purchase an experience to remember.
